During downtime this Thursday, October 29, we will be running startup
tests in preparation for the release of EVE Online: Dominion. You may
get some "incompatible protocol," "incompatible client" or similar
message from your client, but rest assured that they are only part of
the testing process.

The Office Tour allows a player and one friend to have a tour of the CCP office in Reykjavík before Fanfest. The tour takes place on the day before Fanfest officially opens, meaning the winner will have their tour on September 30, 2009. Our CEO, Hilmar Veigar Pétursson, will conduct the tour and take players through the Game Design, Software, Operations, Art and Production departments within CCP and the winners will get a chance to see how EVE is created and maintained first-hand. Thank you to all the participants that donated to the Get-Well Gamers
charity auction. The response was so good that over $1000 USD was
raised. Because of this response, an Apocalypse and Tempest battleship
model were raffled off as well!

Our operations staff are currently analysing the situation and will be bringing the server and forums back up as soon as possible. Our apologies for this inconvenience.
